Micky Braun

Jarrod sits down to chat with Micky Braun of Micky and the Motorcars. Micky Braun is the frontman and primary songwriter of Texas red dirt band Micky and the Motorcars. The son of Western swing musician Muzzie Braun, he grew up performing in his family's band in Stanley, Idaho before forming the Motorcars with his brother Gary and settling in Austin, right around the same time his older brothers Cody and Willy launched Reckless Kelly. Over two decades and nine albums later, Micky remains one of the hardest-touring, most genuinely independent voices in Texas music.
